Participants were divided into three groups, namely an individual intervention group, a group-based intervention, and a no-intervention control group. Data were collected through structured interview schedules and analyzed using a qualitative thematic analysis approach. The intervention consisted of a ten-session positive psychotherapy program. The findings revealed a notable decrease in grief intensity, accompanied by improvements in meaning reconstruction and indicators of personal growth. Several key factors were identified as contributing to this psychological transformation, including an enhanced sense of self, acceptance of reality, expanded cognitive perspectives, the maintenance of continuing bonds with the deceased, and the development of a renewed sense of life purpose. Overall, the results suggest that positive psychology interventions are effective in supporting individuals in coping with prolonged grief and in facilitating the construction of meaningful interpretations of loss and subsequent personal development.

Keywords: Prolonged grief; post-traumatic growth; positive psychology; meaning-making.
Saachi Arora, Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia, Dr. Vibha Sharma Copyright (c) 2026 Saachi Arora, Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia, Dr. Vibha Sharma https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/438 Thu, 02 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 The Effectiveness of the Integrated Community-Based Child Protection Program (PATBM) in Addressing Violence Against Children in Serang City https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/290
Serang City has experienced a continuous increase in reported cases of child violence since 2019. In response, Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 7 of 2013 concerning the Protection of Women and Children was enacted to establish specific policy measures addressing violence against children within the region. To strengthen the implementation of this regulation, the Serang City Government introduced the Integrated Community-Based Child Protection (PATBM) program. Despite the existence of this initiative, the city has continued to record a steady rise in child violence cases over the past five years. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the PATBM program in addressing child violence in Serang City. Employing a quantitative research approach, the findings indicate that the PATBM program demonstrates a relatively high level of effectiveness, with an average achievement rate of 80%. However, the implementation of the program remains suboptimal. This is primarily due to limited competency among PATBM activists, indicating the need for further capacity-building and training. In addition, community participation in the program remains relatively low, which further constrains its overall effectiveness.

Keywords: Program effectiveness; Child protection; Violence against children; PATBM program
Mochamad Ulul adjmie, Rina Yulianti Copyright (c) 2026 Mochamad Ulul adjmie, Rina Yulianti https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/290 Thu, 02 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Spatial Planning Policy Implementation in Controlling Agricultural Land Conversion in Tangerang Regency https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/306
This study is driven by the decline in agricultural productivity resulting from the direct conversion of agricultural land into residential areas, particularly in the northern coastal region (Pantura) of Tangerang Regency, including Sepatan, East Sepatan, Pakuhaji, and Rajeg. The primary objective of this research is to assess the implementation of spatial planning policies in regulating agricultural land conversion, using Merilee S. Grindle’s policy implementation framework, which emphasizes both the content of policy and the context of policy. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 13 of 2011 concerning the 2011–2031 Spatial Plan of Tangerang Regency has not been effectively implemented. Several inhibiting factors were identified, including suboptimal dimensions of policy implementation, inadequate communication between government authorities and landowners, as well as monitoring and supervision mechanisms that remain largely procedural and formalistic in nature.

Keywords: Policy implementation; Spatial planning; Agricultural land conversion
Sri Bagus Vita Dewi Copyright (c) 2026 Sri Bagus Vita Dewi https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/306 Thu, 02 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Community-Based Waste Management in Cisauk District, Tangerang Regency (Case Study of Melati Bersih Waste Bank, Griya Serpong Asri Housing) https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/291
Community Base Solid Waste Management one element that enables a community can develop themselves and achieve progress. Although the overall cultivation area in India has declined in recent years, increasing productivity trends highlight the importance of examining the socio-economic characteristics of its farmers. This study investigates the socio-economic profile of sorghum growers in the Banda District during 2022. A multistage sampling approach was employed to select 120 respondents from the Baberu and Naraini blocks. The analysis, based on descriptive statistics, indicates that marginal farmers represent the largest proportion (43.33%), while medium-scale farmers account for the majority of cultivated land (46.52%), with an average landholding size of 5.14 hectares. Educational levels among respondents are largely concentrated at the primary and secondary stages, with an illiteracy rate of 16.66%. In terms of living conditions, 70.83% of respondents reside in permanent (pucca) housing, and agriculture remains the main source of livelihood for 58.33% of the sample population. These findings emphasize the dominance of smallholder and marginal farmers, highlighting the need for targeted interventions, particularly in capacity building and training programs, to improve productivity and enhance the socio-economic well-being of farming communities.

Keywords: Dryland agriculture, marginal farmers, landholding structure, occupational pattern, productivity trends.
Pragya, Mani Prakash Shukla Copyright (c) 2026 Pragya, Mani Prakash Shukla https://journal.epistemikpress.id/index.php/IJSSR/article/view/507 Thu, 02 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700
