The problem in this research is related to the implementation of new student admissions through the zoning route at SMAN 1 Cikande which is still facing many obstacles. These obstacles include a lack of socialization to the community, inadequate facilities, the age of prospective students who, even though they are close to the school, are still not accepted, an unclear acceptance radius, and unequal distribution between state schools and the calculation of the number of school-age children in a country. region, especially in Cikande District. The aim of this research is to see directly the implementation of student admissions through the zoning route at SMAN 1 Cikande. The theory used in this research is Critical Systems Thinking using four indicators from George C. Edward III, namely communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a means for all stakeholders to find out how much impact and benefits the community gets from the policy of admitting new students through the zoning system and can be used as material for evaluating this policy in the future so that education in Indonesia becomes more advanced. The results of this research indicate that the PPDB Zoning policy at SMAN 1 Cikande has not been implemented optimally due to a lack of technical outreach to the community, an imbalance in capacity with the number of registrants, and the community's mastery of information technology.
