Implementasi Kebijakan Rencana Aksi Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Desa Sinarjaya Kecamatan Mandalawangi Kabupaten Pandeglang

Abstract

Stunting remains a national problem that requires serious attention, including in Pandeglang Regency. The Pandeglang Regency Government issued Regent Regulation Number 61 of 2022 concerning the Action Plan for Accelerating Stunting Reduction as a strategic effort to reduce stunting rates. However, in Sinarjaya Village, Mandalawangi District, implementation still faces obstacles such as poor public understanding of the policy's objectives, increasing stunting rates, and poor communication and transparency within the village government. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Action Plan for Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Sinarjaya Village, Mandalawangi District, Pandeglang Regency. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach through interviews, observation, and documentation validated using source triangulation techniques. The results showed that policy implementation has been carried out through specific and sensitive nutrition interventions such as supplementary feeding (PMT), clean water provision, and nutrition education. However, implementation has not been optimal due to limited human resources, ineffective coordination between implementers, and low levels of community education. Improved cross-sectoral coordination, implementer capacity, and communication strategies are needed to make the program more effective and sustainable.
